V.P Mahamood Haji Memorial Senior Secondary School situated at an enticing location at kakkad,three kms away from Kannur Town ,was founded in 1999, affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education ,New Delhi-No-930757. It is named after the visionary Janab V.P Mahamood Haji who strove for better education for the marginalised community.Initially the school functioned in Darunnajath Yatheem Khana complex, Kakkad.
